The ways and means of capitalism are utterly predictable if not utterly unimaginative. Even more predictable and unimaginative is the rush, by would be venture bros, to fill the void by pledging to be the next and best swap meet for your merch table. That is, until the next one.

Nature may abhor a vacuum but capitalism’s maximum efficiency for maximum profits edict absolutely adores them.

It’s time for independent recording artists to transcend the digital sharecropper mindset, divest from the tired schemes of platform overlords and return to the open web.

The open web is not a platform, the open web is a coral reef around which autonomous ecosystems can interconnect, co-exist and thrive.
