I really like Google’s Material Design Specification. Each iteration of the spec (currently MD3) is bringing UI/UX closer to a science. I’m going to begin adapting their concepts into my project workflow. Unfortunately, in the world WordPress land of page builders, component libraries, css frameworks and even more broadly, web development as a whole, there are so many competing schools of thought, I doubt any meaningful adoption of standards will ever reach broad consensus, much less adoption.
